Review ‘Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke ‘

My Rating = **

Film: Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke

Cast:
Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Rahul Aggarwal, Narayani Shastri, Ravi Kissen
Direction: Rahul Aggarwal

Movie is about a villager who comes to Mumbai for a better job & how city life creates lot of problems for him.
There are many scene that will give you laughter. You will laugh everytime Om Puri open his personal ATM machine, or his scenes with Ravi Kissen
But the movie derails post interval. You enjoy first half but 2nd half is boring. Post interval scenes, specially Jail scenes test your patience.
Acting
- Rahul Aggarwal(main lead & also director) has done very well. He really got into the character. He appear very stupid but that is what the character was, so he did good job getting into the skin of the main character.
-Om Puri, Ravi Kissen (as Madan Khachak) are terrefic.
- Rest of the cast also did good job. Even the characters with small small role did good job like Jimmy moris as Cab driver, Old man lying on bed, Sab Inspector Kale…. they all did amazing job.
Direction :-
1. Some of the dialogues or scenes of the movies are copied from Raju Shrivastav’s acts he did in TV shows
2. The songs that runs in background everytime male lead see her wife, is very impressive
Music
Lalit Pandit’s music is not impressive. After they split as Jatin-Lalit duo, haven’t heard of any good song from him.
Overall
‘Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke’ is a type of a flick, which you can enjoy watching at home. But not sure if you would like to spend 100rs ticket for theatre. The 2nd half is lousy & movie could have shorter by 30 min. However, all the actors are too good to ignore. There are several sequences that go very well.
60% of the screen time, you will enjoy the movie for sure !!
